So I've been at this for 60 films (or 12 weeks) so far, and while it has been fun and challenging, it is definitely exhausting. I started out about a week ahead of the postings, but after a couple weeks I was writing about the films the night before the post went live. That's not good pressure to have or maintain, especially with the already tense atmosphere many of us have been living in for the past four months or so.

Oscar News: Best Picture Expands to 10 Nominees for 94th Ceremony

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) announced today that beginning with the 94th ceremony (honoring films released in 2021) the field for Best Picture will once again be expanded to ten total nominees. This is a return to the line-up that was implemented for the 82nd and 83rd ceremonies before the current rule was enacted allowing between five to ten nominees.
